BIENNALE BREGAGLIA BONDO 2024, seven-part sound installation

The work enters into a dialog with its surroundings, its past and present. Whispered, spoken and sung, some voices resound, following the wind through the valley. The artist counters the persistent presence of the stone and its former violences at the site with the volatility of the voice and uses its peculiarity as a soothing, calming agent. A focus is posed on the story The Bees of Plurs by the writer and strong female personality of the valley Silvia Andrea (1840-1935) and on the particular sensitivity of the bees which she addresses in her text.
